Role purpose
Responsible for assisting with the preparation of monthly financial analysis reports, developing, and maintaining department budgets and generating cost reports. The successful candidate will also collect pertinent information for third party audits, oversee financial reporting and operations and will be the first point of contact for accounting issues.
Main Duties & Accountabilities:
- Prepare accounting related entries to numerous registers, journals, and logs
- Develops strategies for resolving complex client problems.
- Support accounts payable activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice creation and entry
- Perform monthly bank settlements
- Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts
- Provide detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions
- Review client practices within an assigned area of responsibility and refer possible problems and solutions to team leader quickly
- Keep team manager informed of progress
- Monitor own time against budget and inform team Supervisor of potential variances on a timely basis
- Take ownership of personal career development (e.g. actively contribute to setting objectives)
- Assess own performance, seek and incorporate feedback from supervisors and team members
- Proactively suggest ways to improve own performance/approach to work and client service delivery.
- Develop understanding of service offerings within and across lines of service to identify opportunities to meet client needs
- Demonstrate awareness of firm’s risk management policies and procedures by identifying independence and conflict issues to team supervisor and/or in-charge, and consult with them when variances to standard practices are encountered
- Any other task reasonably assigned to the staff member and within their skill set
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy/Accounting Technology/Management Accounting or any related courses
- Non-CPA Professionals
- 1-2 years’ experience in accounting or related field is a plus
- Experience in using QuickBooks is a plus
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Keen to details and can work under pressure

Role purpose
To conduct the audits of specific areas assigned to him of the clients of the Firm, and report to the Senior Associate/Associate Manager of any issues identified during course of the audit.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Apply appropriate accounting principles and auditing standards to reach and support conclusions related to assigned areas
- Effectively and proactively utilize basic capabilities of audit technology tools and other firm standard technologies to perform and document work in assigned areas
- Prepare internal written documents clearly and concisely, incorporating proper punctuation and correct usage of grammar
- Obtain needed information from available client data and conduct appropriate client data analysis
- Review client practices within an assigned area of responsibility and refer possible problems and solutions to team leader quickly
- Keep team manager informed of progress
- Monitor own time against budget and inform team Supervisor of potential variances on a timely basis
- Take ownership of personal career development (e.g. actively contribute to setting objectives)

IT Audit – Junior Associate

Main Duties and Accountabilities:
- Performs audit tasks for various types of engagements (IT General Controls, Internal Audits, Business Process Reviews, etc.)
- Examine IT controls, evaluate the design and operational effectiveness of these controls, determine exposure to risk, and develop remediation strategies
- Prepare working papers, reports & presentations
- Executes proper audit procedures based on a risk-based strategy
- Identify and communicate issues to more senior members of the engagement team
- Any other task reasonably assigned to the staff member and within their skill set
Qualification:
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy Information System, Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or Bachelor of Science in Internal Auditing
- Certified Information Systems Auditor/ Certified Public Accountant/ Certified Internal Auditor/ is an advantage
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and basic research skills
- Proficient in the use of the English language both written and oral
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in engagement team planning meeting
- Performs audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing, and analyzing evidence, and documenting processes and procedures.
- Communicates and/or assists in communicating the results of audit via written reports and oral presentations to the auditees.
- Exercise professional skepticism and diligence in carrying out and completing assigned tasks
- Maintain a good working relationship with the client
- Make the initiative to conduct research and discuss with the engagement Senior or Manager the possible resolution to any issues identified during the course of the engagement
- Complete and submit accurate time reports in a timely manner
- Perform other assignments that may, from time to time, be assigned by the Senior, Manager, or Partner
Requirements:
- Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and/or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
- A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Internal Auditing, Accounting Information Systems
- Willing to go on fieldwork (on-site)
